Cappuccino is a strong coffee prepared with espresso, hot milk, and milk foam topped with a pinch of powered chocolate. The milk foam that floats on top of a cappuccino is what distinguishes it from most other coffee drinks. The difference between caffe latte and cappuccino is that caffe latte has twice the amount of milk and no milk foam. Cappuccino is served traditionally in a porcelain cup, the foam acts as an insulator and keeps the drink hotter longer. The porcelain also acts as another heat retainer whereas paper and glass cups tend to allow the heat to seep out faster. Cappuccino is an Italian drink where it is consumed early in the day as part of the breakfast but never after lunch or dinner, whereas in other countries it is consumed throughout the day. Cappuccino will always be one of the favourite drink among coffee lovers.
