The word biscuit has originated from Latin which means cooked twice. Biscuits are extremely soft and are mainly meant to fulfill the small, in between hunger. There are many different kinds of quality biscuits available like cream biscuits in which different flavored cream are sandwiched between two biscuits, sweet biscuits, salty biscuits, sugar coated biscuits, fruit flavoured biscuits etc. Coconut is also added sometimes as an additional feature. The main varieties offered in biscuits are cheese biscuit, tea biscuit, cookies and also home-made biscuits. They are used as snacks for serving with beverages and also, waffle biscuits for garnishing in hotels, homes, cafe's, restaurants, ice-cream parlours etc. Biscuits are always preferred over the other available junk food as they are health friendly.
